Bengals, WR Bryant agree to deal

According to multiple reports, wide receiver Antonio Bryant agreed to a four-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that the deal is worth $28 million. Bryant replaces Laveranues Coles in the Bengals' wide receiver corps alongside Chad Ochocinco. The Bengals released Coles this offseason. They also signed wideout Matt Jones and hosted another free agent wide receiver, Terrell Owens, on a visit Tuesday night and Wednesday. It's not clear what the signing of Bryant, who visited the Bengals earlier Tuesday, means to the possible signing of Owens. The Enquirer reported it appears the Bengals will not sign Owens. Ochocinco had lobbied for the team to sign Owens, but welcomed Bryant to the Bengals. Ochocinco, writing on Twitter, offered congratulations to Bryant and called Bryant a good addition. He also wrote, however, that he wondered if the Bengals still could sign Owens. Bryant leaves the Tampa Bay
