Big TV Rating For Cutler’s Return to Denver
NBC's telecast of the Bears-Broncos game Sunday night had the best overnight rating for an NFL preseason broadcast in five years, the network announced Monday. The game, featuring quarterback Jay Cutler's return to Denver after the Broncos traded him in the offseason, had a 7.3 overnight rating and a 12 share, according to NBC. That's the best overnight rating for an NFL preseason game carried on any network since a Titans-Cowboys game on Aug. 30, 2004 had an 8.2 rating and a 13 share, NBC announced.
