Bills say they won’t re-sign T.O.

INDIANAPOLIS--The Buffalo Bills won't re-sign wide receiver Terrell Owens. The team announced Saturday that it won't offer contracts to Owens, fellow wide receiver Josh Reed and defensive end Ryan Denney. All become unrestricted free agents on Friday. "We wanted to inform all three players ahead of the start of the free agency period so they could begin making their plans," Bills General Manager Buddy Nix said in a written statement released by the club. "We just felt that was the right thing to do. All three have represented our organization with class and we thank them for their dedication and hard work." Owens spent one season with the Bills after being released by the Dallas Cowboys. Earlier Saturday, Baltimore Ravens Coach John Harbaugh left open the possibility when addressing reporters that his team might have interest in Owens.
