Browns release Stallworth
The Cleveland Browns released wide receiver Donte Stallworth, the team announced Monday. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Friday that the league would reinstate Stallworth after the Super Bowl. He'd been suspended without pay for all of the just-completed season after being involved in an alcohol-related accident last year in which his vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in Miami Beach. Stallworth pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter and served 24 days in prison.
