Cable discusses allegations with Davis

According to the Associated Press, Oakland Raiders Coach Tom Cable said he has spoken in recent days to Raiders owner Al Davis about the latest set of allegations against Cable. Cable was accused by two women, a former wife and an ex-girlfriend, of hitting them in the past. The allegations were made in interviews with ESPN that aired Sunday. Cable said Wednesday that his job status was not discussed in his conversation with Davis, the AP reported. "What we talked about is between us and we'll keep it that way," Cable said, according to the AP. The Raiders announced Monday that they and the NFL would undertake a "serious evaluation" of the allegations against Cable.
