Chiefs sign Shaun Smith

The Kansas City Chiefs signed free agent defensive tackle Shaun Smith, the team announced. Smith played last season for the Cincinnati Bengals. He also has spent time with the New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns. Smith played in Cleveland when Romeo Crennel, now the Chiefs' defensive coordinator, was the head coach of the Browns.
