Cracked Rib For Favre?
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre told ESPN, which is carrying Monday night's Vikings-Houston Texans preseason game, that he suspects he might have a cracked rib. According to a story posted on the network's Web site, Favre said that no such injury has been diagnosed but he feels discomfort when taking a deep breath. He's scheduled to play a half Monday against the Texans in his second preseason appearance for the Vikings since coming out of retirement to sign with the team. Favre previously said he's playing with a tear of the rotator cuff in his right shoulder.
