Dolphins re-sign Ferguson
The Miami Dolphins re-signed Jason Ferguson even with the veteran defensive tackle facing an eight-game suspension next season. The team announced the deal Tuesday. Ferguson had been an unrestricted free agent. He was obtained by the Dolphins in a 2008 trade with the Dallas Cowboys. Ferguson faces an eight-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's policy on banned performance-enhancing substances. Details of his violation have not been made available.
