Extension for Texans’ Ryans
The Houston Texans signed Pro Bowl middle linebacker DeMeco Ryans to a six-year contract extension, according to the Houston Chronicle. The deal is worth $48 million, including $21.75 million in guaranteed money, the Chronicle reported. Ryans had been a restricted free agent. "It's unbelievable," Ryans said, according to the Chronicle. "I'm so appreciative. I still can't believe it. It shows that hard work and patience can pay off."
