Freeney not practicing

According to the Indianapolis Star, Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney missed his second straight practice Thursday because of a sprained right ankle. Team president Bill Polian has said that Freeney will be ready to play in the Super Bowl, according to the Star. However, Colts Coach Jim Caldwell said that Freeney might remain in Indianapolis on Sunday to receive treatment rather than attending the Pro Bowl on Sunday with the club's other selected players, according to the Star.
