Hip Surgery For Giants’ Boley

Linebacker Michael Boley will be sidelined for 8-10 weeks after undergoing hip surgery Wednesday, the New York Giants announced. Boley had a torn labrum repaired during the procedure, according to the Giants. The Giants signed Boley, formerly of the Atlanta Falcons, as a free agent earlier this offseason. He is to take over as a starter at outside linebacker.
