Lewis says Bengals will play to win
Coach Marvin Lewis said the Cincinnati Bengals will "go win the football game" when they face the New York Jets on Sunday night at Giants Stadium. The Bengals will know by kickoff whether the game has playoff implications for them. They're vying with the New England Patriots for the third seed in the AFC playoffs, and the Patriots play earlier in the day. But Lewis said that won't affect his approach. "As I said, we're going to go win the football game," Lewis said at a news conference Wednesday, according to a written transcript by the Bengals.
