Martz meets with Cutler
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, former St. Louis Rams coach Mike Martz traveled to Tennessee to meet with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler on Saturday in Nashville. Martz is a candidate to be the Bears' offensive coordinator. According to the Sun-Times, Cutler met with other candidates for the job at Halas Hall but it is believed that Martz was the first candidate to travel to meet with Cutler. Minnesota Vikings quarterbacks coach Kevin Rogers also is a candidate for the Bears, according to the newspaper. Bears Coach Lovie Smith formerly was Martz's defensive coordinator in St. Louis.
