Which teams had the best offseason? The Take Here: The Eagles and Jets. It was an offseason of transition in Philadelphia with the departures of Brian Dawkins, Tra Thomas and L.J. Smith. But the Eagles have restocked their offensive line with the additions of Jason Peters and Stacy Andrews. They signed a potential replacement for Dawkins in free agent safety Sean Jones, and they drafted a top receiving threat in Jeremy Maclin and a complementary runner to go with Brian Westbrook in LeSean McCoy. They'll enter the season as one of the favorites in the NFC. It was addition by subtraction for the Jets when they fired Eric Mangini as their coach and quarterback Brett Favre retired (at least for now).
