Report: Bucs interested in Cowher
According to a report by the league-owned NFL Network, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have attempted to determine if Bill Cowher would be interested in coaching the team next season if the Buccaneers fire their first-year coach, Raheem Morris. The Buccaneers are willing to pay for a high-profile coach if they can get one, according to the NFL Network's report. But if they can't land Cowher or another high-profile coach, it's not a certainty that Morris will be fired, the league's television channel reported. Cowher reportedly has told teams that he won't discuss any jobs that aren't vacant. The former Pittsburgh Steelers coach, now an NFL analyst on the CBS studio show, has been linked to the Buffalo Bills' coaching job in media reports. The NFL Network reported that Cowher potentially could be interested in a job in Carolina, Houston or Chicago.
