Report: Vick banned from out-of-state travel

According to a report by a Philadelphia television station, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has been prohibited at least temporarily from traveling out of state in the wake of a shooting at a birthday party for Vick in Virginia Beach. WCAU-TV reported that Vick missed two scheduled appearances, one at a football camp Friday in Baltimore and another at a golf tournament in Atlanta over the weekend. According to the report, Vick's travel plans must be approved as part of his probation. He played for the Eagles last season after missing two NFL seasons while serving a federal sentence for his role in a dogfighting operation in Virginia. A prosecutor said that Vick was involved in a confrontation before the shooting at his birthday party last month but left the restaurant three to five minutes before the shooting and was not involved in it.
