Tomlinson visiting Vikings
Tailback LaDainian Tomlinson's visit to the Minnesota Vikings continues Thursday after he met with team officials over dinner Wednesday. Tomlinson is a free agent after being released by the San Diego Chargers. The Vikings are interested in him as a potential backup to Adrian Peterson and a third-down running back. Tomlinson told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that he could be comfortable in the role. "I know I can catch the ball really well out of the backfield, can run routes and that's something that I've always looked for as I got older in my career," Tomlinson told the newspaper Wednesday.
